Hydration, from underneath the skin
A lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid spread in tiny amounts across the skin, not placed to build volume. The result is skin that looks hydrated and has a genuine glow — a different goal from filler.
Skin Boosters — doctor-administered at the hospital
Skin boosters are a form of injectable hyaluronic acid, but used differently from dermal filler. Filler is a denser gel, placed in specific spots to add structure and volume — a cheek, a fold, a lip. Skin boosters use a much lighter, more fluid hyaluronic acid, injected as a fine grid of small deposits spread evenly across an area, where it draws in and holds water within the skin itself.
The effect is on skin quality rather than shape: smoother texture, better elasticity and a hydrated look that products applied on the surface cannot really match, because the hyaluronic acid is sitting within the skin rather than sitting on top of it. It does not fill hollows or lift anything.
Skin boosters work best as a short course, and the effect builds and then needs topping up — this is a maintenance treatment for skin quality, not a one-time fix, and it should be thought of that way when deciding whether it is worth it for you.

- An initial course is usually spaced three to four weeks apart, with a top-up every six to nine months to maintain the effect.

How long does it last?
The hydration effect from a course typically holds for six to nine months, then fades gradually. Most people repeat a top-up session around that point to maintain it.
Will it fill my hollows or lines?
Not meaningfully. Skin boosters are not dense enough to add structural volume — that is what dermal filler is for. If hollowing is your main concern, filler is the more appropriate treatment and will be discussed instead or alongside.
Does it hurt?
