Fees & insurance

What it costs, and what your insurance actually covers

Send a photo of your policy card on WhatsApp. We check whether it is empanelled here, what waiting period and lens sub-limit apply, and tell you your real out-of-pocket figure — before you commit to a date.

The process

How cashless works here

Five steps, and you know the number before step five.

  1. Send us your policy

A photo of your policy card or e-card on WhatsApp is enough. We need the insurer, the TPA and the policy number.

  2. We check eligibility

Cashless here runs through IFFCO Tokio. We confirm whether your policy is one we can settle cashless, whether cataract surgery is within its waiting period, and what sub-limit applies to the lens. If it is another insurer, we say so at this step rather than later.

  3. Pre-authorisation

Once the surgery date is set, we file the cashless pre-authorisation with your TPA and follow it up. You do not have to chase it.

  4. You are told the number before you commit

Approved amount, any sub-limit on the lens, and what you actually pay out of pocket — in writing, before the date is fixed.

  5. On the day

With cashless approved, you settle only the non-covered balance. Where a policy cannot go cashless, we help you assemble a complete reimbursement file instead.

Empanelment

Who we can settle cashless with

Cashless depends on your specific insurer, not just on having a policy — and here it is one insurer, for eye surgery.

  • IFFCO Tokioinsurer

Cashless applies to eye surgery. If your policy is with another insurer, surgery here is still possible — you pay and claim reimbursement afterwards, and we help you assemble a complete file so the claim is not rejected on paperwork.

Dermatology at this hospital is self-pay. We do not have an insurance facility for skin — neither for aesthetic treatment, which no Indian health policy covers, nor for medical dermatology consultations and courses.

How we price

Four things worth knowing before you compare quotes

  • Ranges, not a single figure

What you pay depends on the lens you choose and what your policy covers. A single advertised number would be either the cheapest case or a fiction. We publish ranges and then give you your figure.

  • The lens is most of the difference

In cataract surgery, the surgery, theatre and follow-up cost the same whichever lens you choose. Almost all the variation in the final bill is the lens.

  • Consultation fees are separate and small

The consultation is charged on its own and is not a deposit against treatment. Nobody should be committing to surgery on a first visit.

  • No offers on surgery

Aesthetic treatments have session packages, because that is genuinely how they are delivered. Surgery does not run discounts here. A cataract operation is not a thing to be marked down.

Costs by treatment

Where the numbers live

Each surgical page carries its own cost breakdown, because the answer depends entirely on what is being done.

Aesthetic treatments are priced as per-area session packages — see the skin pages. Skin care of every kind is self-pay here; there is no insurance facility on the dermatology side.

Questions

Fees and insurance

What does a consultation cost?

Consultation fees are charged separately from any treatment and are not a deposit against it. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current fee — we would rather tell you the real figure today than publish one that drifts out of date.

Do you accept cashless insurance?

For eye surgery, yes — we are empanelled with IFFCO Tokio for cashless treatment. Send a photo of your policy card on WhatsApp and we will confirm your eligibility before you commit to a date. If your policy is with a different insurer, the surgery can still go ahead as a reimbursement claim and we help you put the file together.

Is skin treatment covered by insurance?

No. There is no insurance facility on the dermatology side of the hospital — skin care here is self-pay, whether it is a medical consultation for acne or hair fall, or an aesthetic course. Cosmetic treatment is in any case not covered by health insurance in India. The cashless arrangement applies only to eye surgery.
