A thorough clean-out, with hydration put back in

A multi-step device treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in one sitting. Comfortable, no downtime, and a genuinely visible glow the same day.

HydraFacial — doctor-administered at the hospital

HydraFacial uses a handpiece that combines gentle exfoliation, extraction through vortex suction, and infusion of hydrating serums, in a single pass over the skin. It works through defined steps — cleanse and peel, extract, then hydrate and protect — rather than being one uniform treatment.

What sets it apart from a standard facial is the extraction step. Suction lifts debris out of pores at the same time serum is being delivered, which is why skin looks visibly clearer and more hydrated immediately afterwards, without the redness or irritation that manual extraction often causes.

It is a maintenance and glow treatment rather than a corrective one. It genuinely improves hydration, congestion and radiance for an event or as a monthly routine, but it does not replace medical treatment for acne, pigmentation or scarring — those need their own plans, and we will say so if that is what your skin actually needs.

  • A single session gives a visible same-day glow; monthly sessions are what keep pores and hydration consistently in check.
  • Best scheduled two to three days before an event, not the same day, to let any mild redness settle.

Dermatology at this hospital is self-pay. We do not have an insurance facility for skin — neither for aesthetic treatment, which no Indian health policy covers, nor for medical dermatology consultations and courses.

Technology

The device and add-ons

  • Vortex-suction handpiece delivering exfoliation, extraction and serum infusion in one pass
  • Serums selected for your skin — hydration, brightening or calming, depending on what your skin needs that day
  • Gentle enough for most skin types, with settings adjusted for sensitive or reactive skin
  • Booster steps such as LED light can be added where appropriate
  • Supervised by Dr. Neha Shukla, MD Dermatology, so anything beyond routine maintenance is flagged rather than just treated cosmetically

Suitability

Who it suits

  • Congested pores and blackheads without active inflamed acne
  • Dull, dehydrated-looking skin before an event
  • Rough texture and mild dryness
  • Anyone wanting a low-downtime, monthly maintenance treatment
  • A gentle option for sensitive skin unsuited to peels or lasers
  • Not a substitute for medical treatment of active acne, melasma or scarring

The process

What a session involves

  1. Skin check

A quick look at what your skin actually needs that day — congestion, dehydration or dullness each change which serums are used.

  2. Cleanse and exfoliate

    About 10 minutes

Gentle resurfacing to lift away dead surface cells and prepare the skin for extraction.

  3. Extraction

    About 10 minutes

Vortex suction lifts debris and blackheads out of the pores while serum is delivered at the same time — the step that gives the visible difference.

  4. Hydration and protection

    About 10 minutes

Hydrating and antioxidant serums infused into the skin, finished with sun protection.

  5. Straight after

Skin looks brighter and feels smoother immediately. Mild pinkness, if any, settles within a couple of hours.

Aftercare

After a session

  • Sunscreen the same day — skin is slightly more sun-sensitive right after
  • Avoid heavy makeup for a few hours to let serums absorb
  • No retinoids or acids the same evening
  • Skin may feel slightly tight for a few hours; this settles with normal moisturiser
  • Safe to repeat monthly as a maintenance routine

Questions

What people ask us

In English and ગુજરાતી, because the decision gets made in whichever one you think in.

Is HydraFacial the same as a regular facial?શું હાઇડ્રાફેશિયલ સામાન્ય ફેશિયલ જેવું જ છે?

No. A regular facial is largely manual — massage, steam, extraction by hand. HydraFacial uses a device that exfoliates, extracts with suction and infuses serum in the same pass, which is why the result and the comfort level are different.

Will it clear my acne?

It can help with congestion and blackheads, but it is not a treatment for active inflamed acne, which needs medical management. If your skin has active breakouts, that is assessed and treated on the medical side first.

How often can I have it done?

Monthly works well for most people as a maintenance routine. There is no meaningful downtime, so it is also fine to have a single session before a specific event.

Is there any downtime?

Essentially none. Skin may look mildly pink for an hour or two, and most people go straight back to normal activities, including makeup, the same day.
