How long does a full eye check-up take?સંપૂર્ણ આંખની તપાસમાં કેટલો સમય લાગે છે?
About thirty minutes without dilation. If your retina needs to be examined dilated, allow an hour and a half in total, most of it waiting for the drops to work.
આંખ પહોળી કર્યા વગર આશરે ત્રીસ મિનિટ. જો રેટિનાની તપાસ માટે ટીપાં નાખવાં પડે, તો કુલ દોઢ કલાક ગણો — જેમાં મોટા ભાગનો સમય ટીપાં અસર કરે તેની રાહ જોવામાં જાય છે.
How often should adults have their eyes checked?
Every two years up to forty if all is well, then annually. Every year regardless of age if you have diabetes, a family history of glaucoma, or an existing eye condition.
Do you check children's eyes?
Yes. Children should be examined if they squint, sit unusually close to screens, complain of headaches, or are flagged by a school vision screening. Early detection matters a great deal for a developing eye.
Will my eyes be dilated?
Only where the retina needs a proper look — routinely for anyone with diabetes, and where symptoms point to the back of the eye. We will tell you when you book so you can arrange not to drive.
