Common questions
Serums, answered straight
- Is this serum plan a prescription?
- No. It is general educational guidance built from your answers. Conditions like cystic acne, melasma and rosacea need a diagnosis first — bring the plan to a consultation and Dr. Neha will confirm or correct it for your skin.
- Can I use vitamin C and retinol together?
- Keep them apart rather than layered: vitamin C in the morning under sunscreen, retinol at night. They work at different pH levels and separating them keeps irritation down.
- How long before a serum shows results?
- Niacinamide and hydrators show change in four to eight weeks. Pigmentation and fine lines are slower — expect eight to twelve weeks of consistent use before judging a product.
- Do I still need sunscreen with these serums?
- Yes — every plan this tool builds ends the morning with SPF 50. Without sunscreen, pigmentation actives are working against the sun and losing; with retinol, skin is more sun-sensitive still.
